God Is Love, and Love is…?

“The fundamental energy of God’s being,” which Divine Principle calls “universal prime energy,” is nothing other than love.

“Love is the force that unites,” said True Father. What is universal prime energy? It is the force that unites. It “directs [God’s] eternal dual characteristics [and] the dual characteristics that make up each being …to form a common base [and] engage in give and take action.” Which means, it is the force that unites.

So “the fundamental energy of God’s being” is love and, therefore, “God is love.”

By Principle, love causes God to multiply two separate, complementary beings out of Himself, and causes those two separate beings to unite into a fourth being. This places four beings in a structure of relationships that we call the four position foundation.

Love defines the ideal for relationships among the beings in these positions. By virtue of love, each being can take an objective position to the other three as well as a subjective position to the other three. This we call the three-object purpose.

With each position comes specific ideals, powers, responsibilities and commitments. Occupants inherit them from God and their predecessors, represent them, and strive to exercise and fulfill them with love.

The purpose of creation is fulfilled by the one particular four position foundation “established by a perfected man and woman who join as husband and wife centered on God.”

Through various means, God predestines and then calls object partners (individuals, lineages, nations) to represent specific positions. Such object partners inherit the conditions, for better or worse, set by their predecessors.

When an object partner succeeds in the responsibilities associated with their position, God claims the position and that representative, who is saved, justified and glorified. If an object partner fails, God will call another to the position after a payment of indemnity.

With these thing in mind, we will study True Father’s declaration, written on April 4, 2010 of the Heavenly Calendar (solar June 5):

• “The people of ten thousand generations are likewise the citizens of one lineage, and the children of one Heavenly Kingdom.

• “The headquarters of cosmic peace is also one absolute and unique headquarters.

• “Its representative body and heir is Moon Hyung Jin.

• “Any other person is a heretic and destroyer.”
