Tyler and Ruth continue their reflections on our internal preparation for Christmas. True Father taught about the hardships of Jesus’ family. This Nativity scene reflects Mary’s distance from the newborn Jesus, and Joseph’s even greater distance from Mary. This failure to see from God’s viewpoint thwarted God’s plan to unify the world through the birth of His Son 2,000 years ago, centering on the Temple.

I add the image of the Magi, with an anecdote. In the early 90s, our US church headquarters in New York chose a Christmas card to send to members. We took the card to True Father for his approval. He said, “Add the three wise men on their camels.”The podcast includes music from Celtic Christmas and Handel.
