Today the United States celebrates Thanksgiving. True Parents Way encourages everyone to give thanks for marriage. Marriage protects children. Marriage grows healthy communities. Marriage makes nations strong. Marriage is the path for man and woman to be one with God.

At the same time, marriage is the greatest spiritual discipline. It takes tremendous focus and resolve, more than meditating on a mountain top for a thousand years. As Father Moon says, “give and give, forget what you have given, and give again.”
